Stunningly beautiful creations within the realm of classic styling have been Eileen's passion for decades. Like the fiery red snakeskin covered Karl Springer style table pictured, she has a fire within her to create extraordinary art-furniture pieces. She honed her skills as a custom furniture artisan in the 1970's and 80's under the tutelage of Karl Springer in his New York workshop. After a hiatus due to necessity of family, she re-emerged and began her own company in 2010.
Recognitions & Awards
Recognition came quickly on her re-entry to the design and custom furniture world. Accepted into the Architectural Digest Home Design show and invited back, she showcased her work in the "MADE" section.
Featured in the "What's Hot" section of ELLE DECOR, "Modern Master Class" section of LONNY, a HOUSE BEAUTIFUL special feature "101 Tiny Tables for Every Room in Your House", and "Lifestyle" section of GRACE ORMONDE WEDDING STYLE, her design was cited as one of the "Top 25 Super Chic Side Tables" on the AD website. She has been featured in blog posts such as STYLEBEAT, DECOR ARTS NOW, DAILY AD, and DONGHIA DIGEST.
Despite being a small local entity, she has had work contracted by international designers from the UK, Germany, and Switzerland, as well as numerous, well renowned US design firms and showrooms.
